Pecos Water TowerWelcome to the Town of Pecos City's GIS portal! Our goal is to provide relevant, easy-to-use mapping applications and open spatial data to the public. Please use the links provided to access our content, as well as other local and regional sites that may provide useful information. We provide data in the form of interactive maps and PDFs. Interactive maps allow public access to Geographic Information Systems data in a user-friendly environment, which can be used with little or no training. Additionally, we will provide the community with downloadable static (paper) maps in PDF format, which can be printed.

For any comments or questions regarding the usability of the maps, applications, or spatial data we provide, please email our office.

For any data request not listed on this page, please fill out the Open Records Request Form, and the appropriate staff member will contact you.

We host a variety of open data and maps online using ArcGIS Online and Open Data sites. The applications published are viewable both on desktop browsers and mobile devices. We recommend using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox for Windows or Android devices, and Safari for Mac/iOS devices. You may encounter errors if using Internet Explorer, most likely when using versions before Internet Explorer 10. We plan to start a blog that will be used to provide updates on projects we are working on and give a behind-the-scenes look at our mapping program.
