The Engineering Department serves as the coordinator for all projects within the Public Works Department, and also assists the City with application and administration of grants, development of special projects, and community events.
The Engineering Department implements strategies and develops processes to improve efficiency in the daily operations of the Public Works Department.
The goal of the Engineering Department is to create a professional organization, trained and prepared to perform daily operations in the most effective manner. Also, to prepare the City's infrastructure for future growth and needs according to a Master Plan.
